We all know what Skyrim meets Zelda: Breath of the Wild appears like, because of a very fairly mod. Now, one other creator has given us a glimpse at how Tamriel's frostiest, dragon-infested area would seem when become a painterly cartoon - and it is beautiful. Modder TwoChack has posted a video of the Skyrim cartoon mod they have been engaged on for "years", which you'll be able to take a look at under. Beginning with a view of Citadel Volkihar from Skyrim's northern shores, the footage takes us round a number of the surrounding woodland and landmarks overhauled with a mild, watercolour-like palette and artstyle. The creator switches forwards and backwards between the common and reworked visuals - for instance, at across the 1:00 mark - to show the effectiveness of the change. Whereas it takes away a number of the pleasing ruggedness of Skyrim's panorama, the result's beautiful. Every little thing is softened and extra summary, giving the sport a really feel not in contrast to Disco Elysium's stylised look. Even the grumpy Thalmor solider standing on guard at zero:54 seems to be much less of a menace, their expression much less pronounced and wonderful golden armour gleaming away.
