IGN reached out to Blizzard for additional clarification on American College’s ban. We requested why it took every week for Blizzard to announce a punishment for the school group for breaking a rule, whereas Blitzchung was punished virtually instantly afterward.
Whereas Blizzard didn’t instantly handle this query, a spokesperson despatched over the next response:
"Thanks for reaching out. We strongly encourage everybody in our group to share their viewpoints within the many locations out there to precise themselves. Nevertheless, our official broadcast must be concerning the recreation and the competitors, and to be a spot the place all are welcome. If we permit the introduction of private views about delicate points into the channel, it ceases to be what it’s meant for – esports. We've guidelines in place to help this, to which these rivals, in addition to others in any respect ranges, have agreed. They knowingly broke these guidelines and we’ve suspended them from Hearthstone esports for six months. The ruling is out there here."
